Today’s a rainy day here in Chicago. I don’t know about you, but I personally love a good rainy day. It always has me feeling cozy, reflective and peaceful. Maybe that’s why it’s felt like the perfect time to send out an update and work get some work done on my website (that’s still a work in progress…)

A Note About Touring, Etc
For most of my time in the demimonde, touring has been an integral part of my brand, and that has been by design. I have always had an incurable case of wanderlust. I have always loved visiting new places, discovering new haunts and most importantly, meeting new people I wouldn’t be able to meet otherwise. I don’t think my passion for travel will ever be extinguished. However, to be blunt, touring is burning me out. Or to be more specific, all the things that surround touring. As many of you know, announcing tour dates on social media is a sure way to get your account suspended these days, which means my tour announcements are not getting the traction they once did. Many times I am simply not able to get the required prebookings to travel. Flights are more expensive. Hotels are more expensive. Travel in general has become increasingly stressful.
Therefore, I have decided to scale back touring at this time. I will also be raising my touring rate after my May tours. It feels like this has been a long time coming, with a few stops and starts along the way. But right now, this feels especially right. I want to be able to continue to have touring be a part of my life. But in order to do that, I need to make sure it’s still feasible both fiscally and mentally. So I plan to be in Chicago once I return from Europe through the summer, possibly longer.
Of course, Fly Me To Yous, Drive Me To Yous and other bespoke or semi-bespoke travels will be completely available and are part of the updates I’m working on for my site. So do stay tuned!
